A Didgeridoo Experience was established in 2005 and operates from our base in western Sydney.

Flinn Donovan is a professional, dynamic and versatile didgeridoo solo performer with over 15 years of performance experience. Flinn blends traditional and contemporary sounds to create his own unique vibrant and emotive style and a one of a kind performance.

 

The uniquely Australian and timeless sounds of the didgeridoo inspires images of Australia past, present and future.

 

Flinn grew up in Western Sydney. His heritage is from the Gumbayngirr Nation of the Northern Coastal region of N.S.W. Flinn is a proud father to his two children Ruby and Felix.

 

Flinn’s Passion for Didgeridoo Performance began while studying for a BA in The Fine Arts at the University of Western Sydney where he performed for a number of occasions. Flinn has since moved on to become a professional performer at major events including the 2004 Rugby World cup opening ceremony and the 2008 and 2009 Australia Day Celebrations at Penrith International Regatta Center. As well as a collaboration with Micah from Stay Theories & Motomichi Nakamura who is a Brooklyn-based digital artist at the 2007 and 2008 River beats Festivals on the Parramatta River. Flinn has recently played at Parramatta stadium during the Australian N.S.W. Rugby League's "Closing the Gap" round for the Parramatta Eels Vs New Zealand Warriors game.

 

Flinn has also had the opportunity over a number of  years to do Recordings for Andrew Chin on four Albums for Butterfly Music, an independent label that produces music for Catholic Schools in Australia and New Zealand and has performed at the launches of these albums.
